About The Unicorn Assembly
A publication for founders who want evidence before they scale.
What we cover
The Unicorn Assembly is a startup and entrepreneurship publication helping founders, operators, and early-stage teams validate ideas, build useful products, acquire customers, improve unit economics, and grow companies through disciplined execution. We write for startup founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage operators, product managers, growth marketers, small-business owners, angel investors, and venture-capital professionals across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, with a growing readership across Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Our brand story
We started this site because most startup coverage treats a big funding round or a headline valuation as the finish line. We treat it as one data point among many. A company that raises 20 million dollars and churns half its customers in year one has not won anything yet. We would rather cover the unglamorous work: the pricing test, the customer interview that changes a roadmap, the runway spreadsheet that gets updated every month instead of every quarter.
What this site will never do
- Guarantee startup success or treat unicorn valuation as the only meaningful outcome
- Invent founder interviews or revenue figures
- Glorify burnout or present fundraising as proof of profitability
- Hide failed experiments or promote vanity metrics
- Publish confidential company information or recommend deceptive growth tactics
- Present sponsored companies as independent winners
- Claim that one startup framework works for every founder, market, and business model
